the new plush toy is really "booting-up" a new craze.
They are call Webkinz and specialty gift store in our area say they are in big demand and sometime short supply.
Webkinz are not just adorable. Each comes with a secret code to permit its owner to enter the Webkinz world on the internet. There, Webkinz owner must feed and house their pet, earning money with games and more to pay for its upkeep.
Local gift store owners say the Webkinz craze hasn't hit the level of the Beanie Baby craze a decade ago, but it may well be on the way.
